ABOUT GERRY HAT-TRICKS:
Come out and play on Sunday morning. The Third season of Gerry Hat-Tricks
We play the following way to keep intensity to a recreational level, and costs to a minimum - so you can play 16 games for $80 and you keep your souvenir shirt!
The games are played on the mini fields (Under-10 fields) at Tanner's Drive and at MSB Pool end. Play 5 v 5 (including the goal keeper) - a full team is 8 players. If you want to register a complete team and want to have 9 or ten players that is up to you, and we will provide shirts for all players. Teams set up by the club (from individuals or small groups) will only have 8 players in the interests of more playing time. Games are one hour long. Timing is Sunday mornings, 10:30 kick-offs, and can accomodate 8 teams on four fields to do this. Beyond 8 teams, we will play 10:00 and 11:00 kick-off times. NO REFEREES. Teams are expected to manage their behaviour to an appropriate level. Think of the co-ed indoor league on Sunday afternoons as the model for how to play, or the coach v referees game we played a while ago. No players under 18 years old. Only ONE player under 21 per team. No league standings. If your teams is short of players - borrow fom the opponents! No unregistered players. We are keeping the cost to a minimum: it is a club rule, a district association rule, and an Ontario Soccer Association rule - ALL players MUST be registered in this league with Acton Villa Soccer Club. We may also switch-up teams after 8 games if that looks like it would be more fun.
The registration fees cover:
Field rental costs Uniform shirt that the player keeps at the end of the season Player Registration with OSA, PHSA, and Acton SC Allowance for balls and field equipment wear-and-tear Club will provide each team with practice balls, shirts, cold packs, etc. 16 game season - only $80.
