GAME NIGHT SCHEDULES FOR OUTDOOR 2010
Under-5: Wednesdays
Under-6: Thursdays
Under-8: Practice Wednesday, game Thursday
Under-10: Mondays and Tuesdays. Boys games Mondays, girls Tuesdays. Boys practices Tuesday, girls practices Monday.
Under-12 Boys: Tuesdays (home games - a few away games may be other nights)
Under-12 Girls: Mondays (home games - a few away games may be other nights)
Under-14 Boys: Thursdays (home games - a few away games may be other nights)
Under-14 Girls: Wednesdays (home games - a few away games may be other nights)
Under-16 Boys: Mondays
Under-16 Girls: Tuesdays
Under-18 Boys: Wednesdays
Under-18 Girls: Thursdays
Practices in age groups U12 and older are set by the coach for the team.
There will be a "SCHEDULES" section for individual teams in the "Outdoor Soccer" menu once the schedules are finalised.
AGM NEWS
We held our AGM at the Dufferin Centre on 24 September. Despite the fun and games, only 15 members showed up. This is clearly a vote of confidence in current volunteers and shows that members are satified with the soccer services offered in Acton. We still need to fill some volunteer jobs - do you have the time and the interest for one of the following? -
SPONSORSHIP: Work with local businesses who want to support soccer by sponsoring a team.
VOLUNTEER SCREENING (new job): Ensure coaches show police checks, and that references are followed up.
PUBLICITY (new job): Ensure Acton Villa enjoys coverage in the local papers.

MISSED PHOTO DAY THURSDAY JULY 22
MISSED PHOTO DAY.
If you missed photo day, the make-up date is Thursday 22 July at Elizabeth Drive field (aka Rotary Park).
Turn up at 6:00pm if you missed your individual photo but your team was basically there in June.
Turn up for 5:45 if your entire team missed the event and the team and individual photos all need to be done.
If you're not sure which category you are in, ask your coach.
And here's a clarification:
If you missed photo day but your team was mostly there, what you will get is an individual shot of the player, and a team photo that you will be missing from. Team pictures that were taken in June will not be re-done - only those where teams were missing (at a tournament, say) will be taken on 22 July.
