OPENING PARTY at the SPORTS PARK
The opening party was held on Photo Day, June 14, and an array of dignitaries were there as games were played, ice-cream was eaten, and we saw the plans for Sports Park Phase 2: a second lit field for 2009, with trails into the woods and possibly paved parking spaces!
See the "newspaper" section for the details that appeared in the Tanner!
See the photo album here.

New for 2008 Outdoor Season.

New facilities:
Acton Sports Park next to the arena and Tanner's Drive behind the Three Musketears Skateboard Park.

New Under-10 split:
Boys and Girls leagues are separated in Under-10 this year

Adult Co-Ed Outdoor:
We are running adult co-ed outdoor for older players. Played with small teams on the mini-soccer fields on Sunday mornings, this is intended to be recreational soccer with no referees and no league standings. We are aiming for the same atmosphere and level of play as the indoor soccer co-ed league. Players over 18 only, and only one player per team under 21. Since it is aimed at the non-youth crowd, it is known as Gerry HatTricks.
